Fairycore in the Wardrobe

I think everyone at some point has seen themselves in a fantasy land of their own choosing whether it be a fairy Forrest or fighting aliens in space. We all have imagined an escape from this reality have we not? Now that we've established our fairy hole I'm here to show you how to give this ethereal feeling to your every day life by showing you how to add it into your wardrobe. From all out fairy wear to just the casual nod to the Forrest you long to be in.

First let's start small with some accessories, I feel like everyone might want to add a little fantasy to their outfit even if they aren't going for the all out "I long to fly around the Forrest" look. A good mushroom or feather earring is a good place to start. You could even make it more ethereal with a ear covering leaf shaped cuff earring or an elf ear attachment! But maybe you want to be a little less obvious, no? In that case a good crystal necklace or bracelet would be a good option. Below are a few ideas to get you started!

Now that we have the accessories it's time to get in tune with the color scheme. For me I like to think outside of the fairies we see in cartoons, bright colors draw away from the forest feeling I think muted colors and earth tones when I think of fairies. A mossy green or a muted brown that would blend into the trees. A fairy outfit is what you make of it and is an easy thrift find for some. Crocheted patterns, muted floral prints and everything in between can give you that ethereal feeling.
